Twice voted the Guardian Readers’ favourite destination in Europe over the past three years, Slovenia is rapidly emerging as an important tourism centre. The Gorenjska Region covers the north western part of the country embracing the Slovenian Alps and the famous alpine resorts of Bled and Kranjska Gora, as well as the regional centres of Kranj and Jesenice. SVP has been working with a Slovenian consultancy team to prepare a tourism development strategy for this extremely scenic and rich cultural area. In partnership with Stevens and Associates, our work has included advice on international best practice, running workshops with key stakeholders, assessing the product base and market potential and undertaking brand evaluation.
